28. February 2024

Alva Kjellén (47) will become Mantena's new Director of HR-KHMS. She brings extensive leadership experience and a passion for trains to the new role.

– Mantena is a centre of expertise in maintenance and the development of the railway of the future, and one that has strong growth ambitions for the time ahead. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of this, and to contribute to an organization with many highly skilled individuals and a clear strategy focused on quality, competence, and development.

That is what Alva Kjellén, incoming Director for HR and KHMS (quality, health, environment, and safety) at Mantena, says, and adds:

– Sustainable transport solutions are more important than ever, and I have been a train enthusiast for as long as I can remember!

Kjellén joins from her position as HR Director at the Raise Group and also has a background from, among others, Unilabs Norway and Médecins Sans Frontières Norway. She has worked both in Norway and internationally.

The 47-year-old holds a cand.mag. degree in economics, administration, and personnel development, with a master's in Human Resource Management.

– We are pleased that Alva Kjellén has accepted the position with us at Mantena. Kjellén is committed to robust processes and improvement work, and has extensive experience from both small and large companies. We look forward to having her on the team, says John Arne Ulvan, CEO of Mantena.

Kjellén will start in the position no later than April 2. She will succeed Tone Sande, who is now retiring.
