The many changes in the railway sector have led to a completely different competitive situation than just a few years ago. Various railway-related stakeholders are all working hard to adapt to the new sector.
So far, Mantena has met the increased competition by winning several major contracts. The company has, among other things, been selected as the maintenance partner for Go-Ahead in Traffic Package 1 South, for SJ in Traffic Package 2 North, and for trains operating in southern Sweden and the Öresund area.
The company has also won several rebranding contracts. At the Grorud workshop, what will become one of Europe's largest paint halls is currently being constructed. The building is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter.
Looking for Salesperson
The maintenance provider is now seeking a salesperson who, among other tasks, will be responsible for filling the new hall with activity. Mantena’s Commercial Director, Silje Nilsen, is not looking for just anyone for this newly established position.
– There is a great deal of extensive experience within the railway sector out there. For this position, we hope to find a person who not only has experience from industry or railway but also possesses business acumen. It is precisely this business sense that is important for us to continue to be a preferred supplier for our clients and to keep winning new contracts in the future.
