Mantena has been awarded the contract for train maintenance on the Flåm Railway. This means the excellent cooperation on the popular tourist attraction will continue.

Extensive expertise and experience
Mantena delivered the best solution in terms of quality and price in Vy’s tender process. This means three more years of maintenance for the popular trains, with an option for an additional four years.
– Mantena has solid expertise and experience with the rolling stock on the Flåm Railway, which makes a unique contribution to successful operations for the customer. The high season for the Flåm Railway continues to expand and the number of passengers is increasing, so our role as a maintenance provider is essential to ensure that Vy receives the vehicles needed for operations, says Midthus.

The Mantena team in Flåm are looking forward to continuing what they describe as a dream job. They are now preparing for a busy summer season, with a large influx of visitors from all over the world.
