Go-Ahead – Traffic Package 1
We are pleased to announce that Mantena has now signed a cooperation agreement with Go-Ahead Norge for the total delivery of maintenance services for Traffic Package 1 South.
Traffic Package 1 is the first competitively tendered traffic package in Norway, and is thus a very important milestone for Mantena. The contract covers maintenance of the vehicles to be used on the Sørlandet Line, Jæren Line, and Arendal Line, and is valid for eight years, with options for an additional 1+1 years.
Mantena was chosen as Go-Ahead's cooperation partner shortly after the Norwegian Railway Directorate awarded the traffic package to Go-Ahead. It has only now been possible to sign the contract, as several important conditions needed to be met first.
The contract work has been characterized by a shared desire to create a balanced working tool that provides Mantena and Go-Ahead with mutual incentives to deliver a high-quality service. This is intended to give passengers a predictable, safe, and environmentally friendly transport alternative by train.

Mantena is now in the final stage of the mobilization efforts to ensure a seamless start-up on December 15, 2019.
