All set for the launch of Traffic Package 1 South.
New workshop ready for use.
After being entrusted with the total maintenance delivery for Traffic Package 1 SOUTH, we are finally ready to begin operations. Together with Go-Ahead, we will ensure the provision of high-quality services for passengers on the Jæren, Sørland, and Arendal railways. This will make the offerings predictable, environmentally friendly, and safe for all travelers.
New workshop for maintenance
When Go-Ahead Nordic commences traffic on December 15, the new train workshop at Kvaleberg in Stavanger will also come into operation. This is where all local and regional trains within the traffic package will be maintained. The new and impressive workshop is an important contribution to enabling us to maintain more and longer trains even more efficiently than before. Proper train maintenance is essential for keeping to the timetables.

Extensive testing
At the end of November, a full-scale test of the new workshop was conducted. All types of rolling stock included in traffic package 1 were brought to the workshop over the course of a few days. Numerous partners and suppliers also participated in the testing.
Go-Ahead took over the facility on November 27, and now everything is ready to start. We look forward to embarking on the important work of ensuring proper and efficient train maintenance.
